Services
Your personalized care solutions
01
Individual Therapy
Therapy services address multiple areas of need of the individual.. Dy specializes in ADHD, Autism, Trauma, and any combination of them (diagnosed or suspected). As a BCBA, Dy has seen the lack of resources for the neurodivergent community and their families and hopes to help clients struggling with this societal gap.
Dy utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, an alignment relationship where people are seen as individuals, and treatment is designed for each individual based on who they are and what they value. The trauma can be resolved without addressing the story(ies), where you are today is most important.

About Me
Diane (Dy) Thompson
In her own words:
"My hometown is Kittitas, Wa. I moved to the Tacoma area in 2019 and began working in the public schools. When Covid came I opened my clinic. Prior to moving here, I worked in the public schools for nearly 30 years focusing on the most challenging students. When opening my clinic, I chose to focus on those with ADHD primarily due to being an underrepresented population. ADHD and trauma have the same symptoms too. The American Pediatric Society states behavioral treatment prior to medication for ADHD is best practices, this is not often followed."
Dy's personal interested include;
Research, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Relational Frame Therapy, backpacking, cycling, trying something new, hockey (playing and watching), talking with new people, learning new skills, challenging myself inside and out, and personal growth
